Africa Ports & Airports

A network of Independent Maritime Agencies

In 2002, we developed a new network called African Maritime Agencies (AMA) with partners in Africa. The concept of this network is to federate, through this common network, independent companies in shipping and handling. We quickly recreated a network of about ten agencies, in a dozen countries between Angola and Senegal.

To optimize the coordination of operations in Africa, our offices in Paris are present and disseminate information to our clients and our networks on an ongoing basis.

Inland Navigation & Container Terminal Efficiency

Study Concept Barge ARA_2014_V 1.3

This study addresses the challenges and opportunities container transportation logistics will encounter over the coming 2-3 years specifically in the context of development of the Ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp with current and upcoming Terminal facilities, Delta 1 and Delta 2 and expected growth in the ARA Range. The move in Antwerp by MSC to Deurganckdock will also add new challenges. Other elements contributing to changes in the Intermodal Scene in Europe are the upcoming P3 concept (short term) and the Maasvlakte long term Modal Split objective Road 35%, Rail 20% and Inland Navigation 45% by 2035. The consolidation of Inland Navigation Operators in the Rhine-Rurh area and the financial impact of the DB Rail pricing policies will likewise create a shift of ownership and decision power process in the European Intermodal scene.
